Martin is a part of our management team and has worked at Oakenhurst since December 2008. As Facilities & Accounts Manager, Martin’s primary role is to effectively manage the financial side of Oakenhurst. Under the facilities part of Martin’s title, he looks after the buildings that we operate out of, liaising with our various service contractors to promote a clean and safe working environment for all.
Q. If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
A. Learn to play guitar and unleash the inner Rock God that lies within me.
Q. What would you name the auto-biography of your life?
A. I Did It My Way
Q. What is your favourite aircraft?
A. Vickers VC10 – the most beautiful airliner ever made.
Q. What’s your favourite activity/leisure?
A. Playing football, which I have been doing in local leagues for over 45 years.
Q. What chore do you absolutely hate doing?
A. There’s nothing that I hate doing, life’s too short.
Q. What is your favourite film/TV show/book?
A. Born Free. Animal conservation is very dear to my heart.
Q. What do you like about working at Oakenhurst?
A. Every day is different and new challenges constantly present themselves.
