Job Description: Quality Manager

In this position you will report directly to the Accountable Manager and are responsible for:

  • Developing, implementing and maintaining both Compliance Monitoring Program and Quality System over Part 145 & ISO 9001 Standard.
  • Ensuring national and foreign aviation regulations are observed and implemented appropriately over Part 145.
  • Liaising with competent CAA aviation authority and surveyors alike.
  • Management of findings and non-compliance reports.
  • Monitoring the implementation of a corrective action plan and conduct a follow up to ensure compliance.
  • Performing audits according to international and regulatory requirements and approved audit plans by following corporate policies and using techniques that deliver objective, measurable results.
  • Fulfilling all stages of the audit process including: scope, objectives, follow-up and closing.
  • Auditing of aircraft component technicians for the purpose of certification, auditing validity of equipment and tools calibration.
  • Assessment and monitoring of third party contracted (or sub-contracted) service providers and suppliers to ensure standards are maintained.
  • Monitoring of the company’s overseas facilities, including site visits to facilitate audit programs.

Job skills, experience and qualifications:

The applicants should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Previous holder of EASA Form 4 approval is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Prior working experience in: quality management, quality auditing, compliance systems.
  • Experience working in Commercial/General aviation is preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of CAA/EASA regulations including: Part 145.
  • Knowledge of auditing techniques including: planning, conducting and reporting.
  • Must possess confident and effective interpersonal communication skills when dealing with colleagues, partners and authorities.
  • Ability to communicate and to present information clearly and concisely both verbal and written, with attention to detail.
  • Highly self-motivated and proactive with a willingness to take initiative.
  • Ability to work independently and to take responsibility
  • Flexible approach to work, to match the operational requirements.     
  • Proficient in MS Office and comfortable learning new operating systems.
  • Willingness to occasional travel within the UK and Overseas.
  • Fluent in English.

Job Information:

  • Salary range £Negotiable depending on background and relevant experience.
  • 28 days PA Holiday entitlement (Includes bank holidays).
  • Extra holiday rewards can be earned by good attendance and length of service.
  • On-site office hours Monday to Friday, 8hrs per day, 40 hrs. per week.
  • Pension and death in-service scheme.

Job position/grade: Global Sales Representative

We are looking to appoint a Global Sales Representative to work closely with our ever expanding commercial team. The candidate must have prior experience in sales within the MRO/Manufacturing sector of the Aviation Industry.  If you are hard-working, enthusiastic, energetic and passionate about Aviation then this could just be the role for you. We are looking for the right individual whose role will be to represent our global brand at all levels with both new and existing customers.  The ideal candidate will have the drive and energy to be able to demonstrate excellent communication in order to influence, secure new business and provide exceptional service to our customers.

Job skills, experience and qualifications:

  • Previous sales experience within the Aviation industry (namely the MRO/Manufacturing sectors).
  • Understanding and Flexibility to regional and global travel.
  • Proven track record of successful sales and business development with the Aviation Sector.
  • A broad knowledge of Aviation support services.
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Excellent command of the English Language (other spoken languages is advantageous).
  • Full clean UK driving License.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Arranging and attending industry events nationally and globally.
  • Researching fleet or target region.
  • Conducting face-to-face meetings.
  • Contract negotiations (where applicable).
  • Pitching to new customers.
  • Managing existing client relationships.
  • Reviewing quality and performance.
  • Management and maintenance of the CRM contact list.
  • Providing visit reports and updates.
  • Contact Regime for key accounts.
  • Arranging follow up calls and meetings.
  • Research for new business opportunities.

Job Information:

  • Salary £Negotiable depending on background and experience.
  • 28 days PA Holiday entitlement (Includes bank holidays).
  • Extra holiday rewards can be earned via length of service and good attendance.
  • Company vehicle.
  • Hours are Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:00 (30 mins lunch break) split between HQ and client visits/events.
  • Pension and death in-service scheme.

Electronics Engineer

Job Summary

We are currently seeking a full-time and permanent ‘Electronics Engineer’ to join our ‘Interiors, Comms & Navigation’ Division. The main role is to carry out the test and repair of a wide range of avionics equipment. Some of the units repaired within the Interiors Division are as follows:

  • DVD Players & Flat Screen Monitors.
  • Multi-Functional Touch Panels & Switch Boxes.
  • In-Flight Entertainment accessories.
  • Navigational Components & Flight Deck Instrumentation.
  • Interior Lighting & Smoke Detection.
  • Crew Headsets and Cabin Handsets.

 Job entry requirements

  • Previous experience within the Aviation industry is preferred but not essential as we may consider candidates from other industries who possess transferable skills with a view to cross-training.
  • Experience in engineering.
  • Experience in electronics and PCB fault finding techniques.
