Non-Certifying Technician Assistant

We currently require a full-time permanent Technician within our Flight Power & Electro-mechanics Division. The candidate will ideally have experience disassembling units, cleaning units, preparing units for spraying and spraying units.

Example units include:

  • Starter Motors
  • Windshield Heat Controllers
  • Flight Deck Windows / Transparencies
  • Linear Actuators
  • Static Inverters
  • Ovens
  • Water Boilers / Coffee Makers
  • Generator Control Units
  • Smoke Detectors
  • Retractable Landing Lights

Job entry requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Paint Sprayer is preferred but not essential as we may consider candidates from other backgrounds.
  • Experience in an engineering environment as a Technician is preferred.

Job information:

  • Starting salary dependant on previous experience and background of £17,500 to £20,500.
  • 20 days PA Holiday starting entitlement (plus bank holidays).
  • Extra holiday rewards can be earned by sick free years and length of service.
  • Working hours 08:00 to 16:30 Mon-Fri with half hour lunch break.
  • Pension and death in service scheme.

Stores Inspector/Stores Assistant

We currently require a full-time permanent Stores Inspector/Stores Assistant (dependant on previous experience and approvals held) to work within our newly acquired Logistics Centre. The applicant should have knowledge and experience in routine warehouse operations and will be required to perform the following functions:

  • Accurately pick stock items.
  • Control of all stock parts.
  • Responsible for Goods In and Goods Out.
  • Ensure compliance with the Quality Manual including batch control and traceability.
  • Carry out stock checks.
  • Arrange the movement of stock parts to the workshop and update the system accordingly.
  • Accurately package orders for safe delivery to the customer.

Applicant specification:

  • Knowledge of material handling and packaging.
  • Enthusiastic and happy to work in a team environment with minimum supervision.
  • Must have a good work ethic with good attention to detail.

Job entry requirements:

  • Previous experience within the aviation industry is preferred but not essential. We may consider candidates from other industries with similar skills with the purpose to cross train.

Job information:

  • Starting salary dependant on previous experience and background of £16,500 to £20,000.00
  • 20 days PA Holiday starting entitlement (plus bank holidays).
  • Extra holiday rewards can be earned by absence free years and length of service.
  • Working hours 08:00 to 17:00 Mon-Fri with an hour lunch break.
  • Pension and death in service scheme.

Non-Certifying Component Engineer

We currently require a full-time permanent Component Engineer within our Interiors, Communications & Navigation Division. The candidate must be conversant with PCB electronic component fault diagnosis techniques down to discreet component level.

Example units include:

  • Navigational Components & Flight Deck Instrumentation.
  • Interior fluorescent & LED Lighting.
  • Multi-Functional Touch Panels & Switch Boxes.
  • In-Flight Entertainment accessories.
  • DVD Players & Flat Screen Monitors.
  • Crew Headsets & Cabin Handsets.

Job entry requirements:

  • Previous experience within the aviation industry is preferred but not essential. We may consider candidates from other industries with similar skills with the purpose to cross train.
  • Experience in engineering.
  • Experience in electronics and PCB fault finding techniques.

Job information:

  • Starting salary dependant on previous experience and background of £18,500 to £26,000.00
  • 20 days PA Holiday starting entitlement (plus bank holidays).
  • Extra holiday rewards can be earned by sick free years and length of service.
  • Working hours 08:00 to 16:30 Mon-Fri with half hour lunch break.
