Another great MRO Expo. If you were lucky enough to be on our stand for happy hour you might recognise some of these photos!

A very productive show for the Oakenhurst team with more meetings and proposals than ever before. Thanks to everyone who made it to the stand.

In case you missed it, our recently graduated apprentice engineers demonstrated their college projects in front of an expectant crowd. We have a big focus on training and investing in our team at Oakenhurst, so it was fantastic to show them off to the wider MRO industry.

Their professionalism and attitude were commented on by all who spoke to them.

A very big well done guys.

Persistence of Vision

James Kerr and Luke Arnull made full use of PROCAT’s  3D printer array to build the rotor for their optical themed project.

“The visual effect is controlled by a set of codes downloaded to the ATMEG328 chip. Three separate driver chips with eight outputs each then drive the LEDs” added James.

Automatic Cocktail Machine

Dan Parker and Antonio Ierubino incorporated an Arduino chip, servos and alcohol to produce some bespoke bar technology.

Shots from Stand #1833

Great catch up and as always, lots of fun.

Happy Hour!

(See you all next year!)
