Cancer is happening right now, so we’re taking part in the Race for Life to raise money, save lives and ensure the amazing work of Cancer Research UK continues until there’s a cure to this awful disease.
1 in 2 people will develop cancer at some point in their lives. It is damaging not only to those diagnosed with cancer, but to the friends and family around them. Almost every family has been affected by cancer in some way including ours at Oakenhurst. The good news though, is that cancer survival figures are rising due to the amazing research carried out by cancer charities worldwide.

Two Oakenhurst employees, Naomi Hockley and Bryony Cronk , are standing up to cancer by taking on a 5K Mud Run on Sunday 21st July in Chelmsford, Essex. Oakenhurst are sponsoring their run and donating towards the amazing work done by Cancer Research to ensure it continues.
